Zaara for Guys

So I totally didn't know Zaara made guy stuff...! And really everytime I see an outfit on a girl I really like, it's usually from there, I have a weak spot for Zaara clothes on girls :p! But anyway they make guy stuff too! I recently just found this out while doing the Make Him Over Hunt.

Here's an outfit I put together with the credits below the pic.

Playing with pictures

So I got the chance to try out the FilterCam by MechanizedLife. And after learning how to use it, which by the way was super quick and easy by reading the nicely done manual (I hate reading manuals but this was okay! lol) I had a lot of fun trying out the different frames and filters it comes with (and there are a lot of them!).

Of course for this blogpost I had to get Sims to model for me, I got a lot of pictures but I'll show you a few really great ones! None of these were post processed one bit, not even cropped.




There are a lot of really great effects, fun ones, creepy ones, sweet ones. For just about any type of picture you could want really! I take a lot of pictures so I know this will come in handy for a lot of really great shots I plan on taking.

The even better side of this product is that you can even install your own filters or frames to use as well as change the transparency/color filters on the ones already provided. It is a really great product, and totally worth the money, which by the way, I went by the store to check out the products and the FilterCam is on sale for 50% off! So instead of the normal 1k you can get it for 500L, which is a really great deal, free updates and all!

So if you love taking pictures, professional or otherwise, the FilterCam is definitely a product you need to have! Especially at its discounted price, runnnn to grab it!

Wear Grey

I'm going to start this post on a quite serious note. Cancer is a disease that has taken many loved ones from many people, and there is so little we can do to help it. Funding, research, treatments, all of these are so important to try and get a better grasp on how we, the human race, can finally beat and cure this disease once and for all. It's vital that everyone does their part to ensure that one day, there will be a cure.

The Wear Grey Campaign is one of those ways to help.

Grey is the Awareness color for Brain Cancer, and this event was designed to bring more awareness to the disease and all forms of cancer. To learn more about awareness colors, for all types of causes including cancer, please check out this link for more info.

Designers from across the grid came together to form a common bond of bringing awareness to the Second Life community about brain cancer. The proceeds of the sales from the items created by these designers is headed to the American Cancer Society to benefit research. So please, donate what you can and pick up some of the wonderful items created by these designers.

The fashion show was held last night to show off the creations and also enabled visitors to purchase them and to donate to the cause. Above we show off some of the designs offered to buy at the show.

Chase is wearing a full outfit from BalAni. It comes full with an awesome hoodie and pants, plus some shirts as well. It's really awesome. =D Simone is wearing a really cute dress with gloves. It's from Kaotik Kreations. And finally I'm wearing the total pimp suit from Musashi-Do. The landmarks to the individual stores and to the Wear Grey sim are located below =D.

Because I've been all kinds of sick/busy/lazy and the blog needs to be updated :p

+Grasp+ has some pretty awesome clothes for guys, a lot of unique and different kinds of items, if you go there you for sure won't be going home empty handed! That is of course if you haven't already bought out the whole store.... The Jacket I'm wearing here is from there, the pants are from Valiant, who btw just opened up again with a bunch of new items! and the tank underneath the hoodie is from Renegade, you can always find really nice clothes there for around 100-200L or even less!

Conspire!

GothiCatz has awesome clothes, that's not up for debate. Not only do they have tons of clothes for guys, they do for women too. But guys get the short end of the stick when it comes to fashion in SL, hence why we're here!

This is one of the newer releases from GothiCatz, called Conspiracy. It's just.. well look at it ffs! It's a pretty casual outfit, but you could wear it doin' anything. It includes a jacket layer shirt, prim cuffs, prim collar, and crazy jeans. The prim parts are totally resizable to get a custom fit. Go check them out!

Jeans n' Coats

Just a good ol' post featuring the plainest of the plain. Jeans and a trench coat. You know you want them, because they're so damn killer. Let's take a look at this coat!


So I was minding my buisness just sort of shoppin', when I come across this coat at SF Designs. I was like, whoa. The ad for it was perfect, so I figured I'd give it a go. And man was I happy with it! It comes with TONS of options, from different sizes of the collar and cuffs, to three different types of attachments for the jacket itself. Longer, shorter, and slimmer. It's just awesome and goes with anything you can think of, there's another color too for sale!




*BOOM* has some great clothes, for both sexes. Their t-shirts for men are great, lol. I figured I'd check out their jeans while I was there! Beware, they're called *Gettin' Low* for a REASON as you can see! Low jeans are fun times, so these are a great addition to a wardrobe. There's different colors available too =D. The cuffs are prim and fit really well, needing minimal adjusting.
